Overwriting charts

First time poster...would really appreciate the help.

I have macro that generates a gantt chart. The ranges are dynamic, so new data is automatically updated in the chart. Therefore, the only upside of using the macro is to set the scale on the x-axis. The scale is based on the min and max of a given variable. If could figure out a way to code this into the chart and forget about the macro, that would be great. Otherwise, I need to be able to overwrite the existing chart (I locate the chart as a new sheet). Any ideas???

Thanks.
