Overwrote in shared work book

I have a large shared excel 2009 wookbook with 9 sheets and mistakenly saved to the book, which overwrote all the data. All the existing sheets are gone

How do I restore the old sheets?

I have looked in the 'auto archive' location and struck out and the 'track changes' option was not enabled in the workbook.

If you're lucky you may find previous version....
Excel right click > properties > Previous Versions tab > if
you see a list box with previous file versin select and open....

If it was stored on a network drive, ask your IT person nicely to do a restore from backup.
