I have Office 365, using Excel 2016.

Page Layout is greyed-out. I rebooted, opened Excel, clicked on the Page Layout icon, and got a message saying "current printer not available".

Does anyone have a solution?

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
Set your default printer to the Microsoft printer.

Its a "feature" to help ensure a user doesn't format a document to a layout the current printer selection is incapable of printing. To me it is a bug since I have need to format for 11x17 even though that size is not available to my usually printers.

Just found out it's due to an internal printer server error.

Thanks anyway.
