Lets say I have a spreadsheet that prints on 100 pages. If I add Page &[Page] of &[Pages] to the footer the first page will have "Page 1 of 100" and so on till the end of printing. But lets say I make a correction to page 30 and only want that page to print, when I do. It will read Page 1 of 1.

How could I get it to read page 30 of 100?

Thanks Parra

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
This is kind of a modified note on what you want to do:

Specifying the Beginning Page Number in Excel
If you intend to insert your printed output into another report, you may want to specify a beginning page number so that the pages collate correctly as you insert them into the report. To do so, follow these steps:
1. Choose the File, Page Setup command.
2. Click the Page tab of the Page Setup dialog box.
3. Specify a page number for the first page in the First Page Number text box. The default option is set to Auto, which starts numbering at page 1.
4. Click OK to close the Page Setup dialog box.

Another option is to select the entire print range, and then print only page 30. At the print message box, there is an area to select a specific page range. Select page 30 to page 30.

Well, It did seem that the Excel for Dummies email had the info required :)

Just trying to help.

I'm stuck in Trend Analysis hell, and I took time out to water my over-heated cerebellum
