Painted background

Hi guys

I got a doubt:
I have many columns and i wished that when the 3 first ones were filled, only those 3 would became painted on the brackground.

What you need is Conditional Formatting.

From the Format menu choose 'Conditional Formatting'

Now you have two options:
1. Colour a cell if it has a (certain) value
2. Colour a cell if another cell has a certain value

1. In the dialog box choose at what value the cell needs to change colour
for instance 'Is larger than' 0
and choose the format

2. Select 'Formula is'
Now you can enter a formula that refers to the same or to another cell
