Hi All,

I think I have a simple task in excel that I need to undertake. I am looking to compare a row of numbers against a table of numbers and would like to analyse the number or occurrences
of consecutive pairs.

In the example I have provided there is a single row of numerical data spanning across 8 columns(MAIN LINE) being numbers 1,2,8,11,16,30,55 &56.
In this line there are two instances of consecutive pairs of numbers (1-2 & 55-56). I would like to analyse this line against a Table of numerical data
to match the number of occurrences where there are consecutive pairs.

Therefore the result of this example I have provided will produce a count of (2) occurrences of consecutive pairs appearing in Table 1 when compared
to the Main line.

If someone can assist that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and Regards
