Parsing Text Strings

I have a number of text strings that I had to copy and paste in from a PDF file. There is zero consistency between strings, for instance:

NEW YORK A&P #70207 GOLD RIDGE 75.66
IMPERIAL WOK SUMMERS 55.15

I'm trying to figure out a way to split the strings apart so that I'm left with the description in one column and the price (i.e. 75.66, 55.15, etc) in another column. Any ideas? Thanks, Mike

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Try:

=LEFT(A1,FIND("|",SUBSTITUTE(A1," ","|",LEN(A1)-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(A1," ",""))))-1)

=LOOKUP(9.99999999999999E+307,RIGHT(A1,ROW(INDIRECT("1:"&LEN(A1))))+0)
