Parts Number list Issues

I am doing some analysis on comparing some pricing for similar parts from different vendors for my company and have run into a problem matching up the parts.

One vendor's list has the same part number but separated by decimals i.e. 350.13.223.2345 where the other list has it as 350132232345. Is the anything that I can use to remove the decimal points from the one list or another way to still match them using LOOKUP function?

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
this will remove the . in A1

=SUBSTITUTE(A1,".","")

Thank you very much for your help! You just saved me from having to do this manually for about 6,000 part numbers! :)
