I am having problems passing a value from a Listbox on a userform to a sub routine.

I am trying to load the listbox with a value, default to an item in that list so the user does not have to select an item, and then pass that code generated selection to a variable.

In the Userform3 Initialize Event I have the following:

VBA Code:
Private Sub UserForm_Initialize()
Dim i As Integer
For i = 1 To 25
    ListBox1.AddItem (i)
Next

'Default to value of 1 so user can use it without actually choosing it
ListBox1.value = ListBox1.List(0)

'Ensure this is passed to variable
ListBox1.Selected(0) = True

End Sub

Then in the Sub I have

VBA Code:
Sub Test()
Dim X as Single

X = UserForm3.ListBox1

End Sub

Thanks

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
