Hello

I need to develop a method to fill out fields in an Excel spreadsheet automatically using ASP or similar. I've been partially successful using the following method:

http://www.greggriffiths.org/webdev/both/excel/simple.html

However, this can only create a simple new Excel form. I want a pre-existing spreadsheet with 4 tabs to get filled out with the appropriate info after one mouseclick, which would pass in a variable (User loginID) telling the form which parts of a database it should query to fill in various fields.

Not sure if I'm making sense here...

Oh yeah, and I'm restricted to Office 2002, Windows XP and Active X or EXE files are prohibited. I also have no access to Visual Studio, only Notepad and IIS.

Anybody got any help or hints they can give me?

Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
