Hello,

I have an Excel workbook, Admin, which creates another workbook, 'Daily Book' and places two buttons. Now the workbook Admin is controlled, i.e., not all users will have access to it, so I want the Daily Book to be disconnected entirely from Admin. But I also want to write the VBA code that the buttons should run when clicked on. So, where do I place this code without having the Admin file open?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Why not make the Daily Book a template file (with the buttons and code). Then from the Admin file just open a new workbook from the template.
