I should know this but seem to having a brain fade
VBA Code:
Set cControl = frmSerial.Frame1.Controls.Add("Forms.Label.1", CName, True)
How can I pass "frmSerial" as a string to this instruction. To enable the Function add controls to various Forms.
Or must I use something like this
VBA Code:
Select Case FormName
Case "frmSerial",
Set cControl = frmSerial.Frame1.Controls.Add("Forms.Label.1", CName, True)
Case "frmSomeOtherForm"
Set cControl = frmSomeOtherForm.Frame1.Controls.Add("Forms.Label.1", CName, True)
end select

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
Hi there. You can reference forms by their name like this:
Forms("frmSerial").
So, if you set up a string variable as a parameter you can pass in the form name, something like:

VBA Code:
Function DoThings(FormName As String)

Set cControl = Forms(FormName).Frame1.Controls.Add("Forms.Label.1", CName, True)

etc.

End Function
