I recently took over a company spread sheet from a former employee, who password protected a sheet in a work book. The bad thing is that no one knows the password to change any of the cells. Is there a way to "crack" the password on the sheet?

Yes, but the optimal way will have a cost factor.
That is, you pay per file, or for some software, which-ever is cheaper I guess.

Some other places will take the file (if you trust them , and if the data is not too sensitive), and some threads here have given a variety of web sites that cover password recovery.

i don't know about add-in *******s but they do have decompilers to put them into plain excel formats. don't know if that's going to help you though.

Oh you'd better run and hide.

You're going to suffer the ire of many a disgruntled add-in programmer with that sort of question. You'll probably not get a better answer than the one firefytr gave you.
