I want to conver my xlsm files to xlam format i.e. created a excel add-in and wanted to hide the codes from user.

First I tested the converted xlam without activating "password protect" or "select hide from view". It works fine.:)

However, if I convert the same xlsm file to xlam format with the "password protect" and "select hide from view" activitated, I got an error message while tying to add the add-in. :( The error says:-

There are several possible reasons
* The file name or path does not exist.
* The file is being used by another programe.
* The workbook you are tying to save has the same name as a currently open workbook.

I don't have this problem when in office 2003. HELP!:eek:

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
