Password protect

Hi,

I have many spreadsheets in Excel 2007 that are password protected to open. How can I remove this function???

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.

Resave the file, but use the "Tools" in the save dialog box to remove the Password.

Yes, I have sorted it now, tools, general options, then delete out the password. So much easier to learn how to do something on Excel than how to undo something!

Hello, I have the same problem. When I tried to do the save as/tools, etc.. the password is grayed out and I am unable to remove it.
