I have merged cells in column A, and would like to paste the values in each corresponding cell in column B.

Example Cell A1:A5 has value of 402, and I want to paste that same value in cells B1, B2, B3, B4, and B5.

Is there a formula for this, or a VBA script?

Thanks

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
I figured it out:

=IF(A2<>"",A2,B1)
