So I have a bunch of data but when I paste it, it gets pasted into many rows. I just want the data to be pasted into a single cell, nothing more.

I'm sure there's an easy way to do this but I just can't figure out how.

Thanks. :)

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.

If you mean you have a bunch of data from copying from another app, let's say a web page, and when you paste it in excel, Excel parses it out...

Try: Select the cell, press F2, press CTRL + V
