This may be easy but I don't use excel enough. I have text in column A of a certain card in my collection. then in column D is the set That card comes from. I need Column E (Set ID) to have a value based on what column D says for that specific row. The id each set name corresponds to is sent in a program elsewhere and on a printout i have in front of me. What I'm wondering is there a way to make it auto fill column E based on what Column D says. Here is a sample of the data. test 1 2.ods

Sorry if this sounds jumbled i have been working on this project for over 12 hours today in many areas and I'm about fried thanks for looking and trying to help if you can!

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
What does the value in Column E represent? Is it a count of the number of instances of the named 'set' in Column D?

E is the number a program assigned to the set name from D its predefined and will always be the same number for each set name
