Hi there, I have a bunch of financial reports in different tab in which the numbers are from 2019 in first column to all the way to 2012 data.

I need to paste a very specific cell data (eg revenue) in my summary tab which starts from 2012 as first column and 2019 as 8th column, now if I give a specific cell reference in my summary sheet and drag the formula the data doesn’t gets pasted in reverse order.

please help how I can do that?

E.g.: let’s say I have two tabs
Summary tab and Raw data tab

in raw data tab in one particular row numbers are:

10, 20, 30

now in summary tab I want to give reference to this row of raw data tab and copy numbers in exact reverse order, so summary tab should have

30,20,10

How should I do it?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Is this what you need? I've done it all in the same sheet for the example, but it will work the same way when getting data from another sheet.

The key is to make good use of absolute ($ sign) and relative (no $ sign) references.
