Hey all,

How can I paste just the text of a cell, without also pasting the border, fill color, etc?

even if I copy a cell that is plain text with no border or fill color, it is pasted in as an object and not as individual characters (if i try to edit it, it erases the entire thing)

(using office 2000)

Thanks!

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Hi

Try selecting the text in the formula bar, then Ctrl + C, then just paste in outlook!

my mistake, I didn't clarify....

The results in the cells are from a formula, so if I copy the data in the formula bar, I will just be copying the formula, not the actual text of the cell.

I am basically just needing to be able to copy prices from a quotation calculator and paste them into emails that are sent to customers.
