Hi!

I really need help with creating a pay structure chart/pay band chart.

In the WorldatWork course C4, page 3.10 there is a "floating-bar" chart created vertically and with cash on the y-axis and a user-defined x-axis. I can create this chart using a line graph but this doesn't show the max, midpoint and min very well.

Key aspects: floating, bar chart with different colours above AND below the midpoint, and exact labels (3 per bar) written on the bar itself.

If anyone has the slightest idea on how to create this chart I would greatly appreciate it.

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
When you create the chart are you using the correct Chart Sub Type that will provide you with the view you want. The Chart Sub Type are the boxes to the right on the first step of the chart wizard.

When you choose the one you want then all you have to do is play around with the options. You can have a ledgend or you can have the names next to the graph or on the graph.

But pretty much just play around with it.

If you give me the website of the chart you saw I can take a look at it.
