Setup:

Floor = 30k (in this example... actually cell based)
Ceiling = 50k (in this example... actually cell based)

If I had a value of 40k, I want a formula that tells me the value is 50% within that range. Where 30k would be 0% and 50k would be 100%.

How do I do this?

Floor is in AE3
Ceiling is in AF3

Variable value (40k) is in O3

Thanks!

Code:
=(O3-AE3)/(AF3-AE3)

..You may want to use data-->validation to limit O3 to be between AE3 and AF3.
