percentage of another number formula

Hi All

I have a range of numbers that represent calls taken, I then have another range of numbers that represent the errors made
so I want a formula that will tell me what x number is as a percentage of another

e.g 2 is x percent of 1000

Hello,
with the total number in A1 and the error number in A2 you can calculate the percentage of errors with

=A2/A1

Format the result as Percentage.

Or you can use =A2/A1*100 if you don't want the percentage format.
