Percentage

Can someone help me?

I'm trying to work out some figures but need to minus a percentage off.

What's the formula to do this?

example, 10.24 I need to minus 19.48% but it brings back an incorrect number of 10.05.

Assuming your 10.24 is in cell A1, you could use this formula:

=A1*(1-0.1948)
