Hi all

Is there a formulaic way of returning the 25th, 50th and 75th percentiles of a large list of data?

For example:

I have a list of 10,000 employees from 60 countries and am trying to return for each employee the 25th, 50th and 75th percentiles of the salaries in the country the employee sits. I would take far to long to separate the list of salaries for each country and use the percentile functions so can it be combined with something else to lookup the list of salaries for the array then perform the percentile part on these figures?

Any ideas, please?
