Perform 'Save' Function automatically

I may be mistaken, but with Excel 2003 I don't seem to have an AutoSave feature. It does have a AutoRecover save feature.

What I have is a program that looks at the last modified date of an Excel spreadsheet and then performs actions if the last modifed time/date has changed since the last time it looked.

I need to leave the Excel Spreedsheet open as it periodically updates itself from an external source. What I want it to do though is also have it periodicly (I don't mind if I specify a time or if it happens everytime the worksheet performs a calculation) perform the 'Save' function and overwrite itself.

Any ideas Board?

Thanks,

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Workaround

I found a workaround:

I set the workbook as Shared and set the Update changes option to Automatically save the Workbook every 15mins. This achieves my goal.

Thank you to everyone who looked at this issue.
