This is probably any easy one for most of you but can someone please tell me how I can run a formula which will calculate the anniversary date of performance appraisals for staff. We don't have a system at work so use Excel to hold all personnel data. Here is a small example of an employee who has multiple records to their name because they have had different contracts, pay rises etc. I need the performance appraisal date to stay true to their commencement date with the business and just update on an annual basis. I don't even mind if it doesn't have the year as really all we need is the day and month the appraisal is due based on their commencement date with us:

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Thank you for your reply and apologies for my late response. Work got a bit carried away so I am only getting back to looking at my spreadsheets and formulas now. I haven't used minifs before so I will give this a go and let you know.
