Permanently Display a formula in Excel

I am trying to find a way to get a cell to read another cell's formula and display that formula. I know Ctrl-~ will cause the entire workbook to show formulas, but I only want a single cell to do so. Any ideas?

Here's a UDF that may help:

Function FormulaText(x As Range) As String
     FormulaText = x.Formula
End Function

(hit Alt+F11, Insert/Sub, then paste in the code above)

Say you want to display the formula from A1 in another cell, you can now use the formula above:

=formulatext(A1)
