I have code that is assigned to buttons in a workbook. The code is in my personal.xls workbook. When I send the file out and other people click on the button they get an error "Personal.xls could not be found...."

Why is this happening? I try inserting a module in the workbook itself and copy and paste the code into that, but it doesn't stay there, when I reopen it those macros aren't there.

Help.....

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
Why is this happening?

Because you're not sending Personal.xls.

I try inserting a module in the workbook itself and copy and paste the code into that, but it doesn't stay there, when I reopen it those macros aren't there.

That's weird. If you're saving the new workbook after you add the new module/code, then it should be there when reopened, and therefore when sent.
