Personal.xls

hello all,
I wanted to place a macro on someone's computer that has never had a macro. They did not have a Personal.xls to place the macro. So I recorded a macro and placed it in the Personal Macro Workbook. In the past once I did this the Personal Macro Workbook would automatically open when ever they opened excel again.
But this time, it does not open when excel opens. Do you know why?

Check in Help>About>Disabled Items that the Personal.xls is not listed there.

Just checking, but did you ensure that you saved down the Personal.xls when you quit Excel? Can you confirm that Personal.xls is within the XLSTART folder?
