i use this file for my macros at work and recently got a new computer at home and tried to copy the file to the right spot so i didn't have to re-write all the macros - well it didn't work - so i wrote them again, 3 times so far, and they do not save....? i record them, make a button for them, and test them on the toolbar and everything works great until i close out of excel and go back in and they aren't there anymore. i have no idea what i'm doing wrong. any help would be appreciated.

You could do a hard drive Search/Find, discover where the last Personal.xls is hiding.

I am thinking there is simply a misunderstanding on where it is located.
