I'm in the middle of a custody battle with my ex and need expert help.

I have an Excel spreadsheet with every phone call to and from my son. The calls can be from the ex to my son while he's with me, from me to my son when he's with my ex, returning missed calls, etc. Each call is logged with the date, time and duration of call.

im looking for help in order to break down the calls via built-in tools. I'd like to create several charts:

- number of calls to, from, returning, etc.
- number of calls per week (say sun-sat) for every week since a certain date
- number of calls on Mondays, Tuesday's, Wednesday's, etc.
- perhaps others.

Any any suggestions on how to accomplish these charts? I have an intermediate knowledge of excel and have excel 2013

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Hi Sir Bailey,

First thing that I would do is copy your entire column with dates in, then format the entire cell range to custom with DDD, this will return you the day for each entry.

Then select the entire range and insert a pivot table, you can use permutations of sum/count and arranging the call to and from to present your data. You could also then just throw these into pivot charts.

Not much else I could offer you really but this will give you a starting point.
