a3, b3, c3, d3,....

In one row there is any one single cell which have star "*" in it. How to pick these cells automatically and take to a column ?

acowa1acowb1*acowc1*acowc1
acowa2*acowb2acowc2*acowb2
*acowa3acowb3acowc3*acowa3

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

Suppose destination column = Z and relevant columns are A-Y, enter in Z2 and copy down
Code:
=HLOOKUP("*~**",A2:Y2,1,0)
