I have values in column A that I enter every day. 1st day I enter a value in A1, next day A2, etc...

How can I, in cell B1, pick the last value in the list? Not necessarily the highest or lowest value, just the last one?

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Define a dynamic range name, for example 'LastValue' and put the formula =LastValue in B1

Name LastValue defined as
=OFFSET(Sheet1!$A$1,COUNTA(Sheet1!$A:$A)-1,0)

This particular definition assumes there will be continuous values down column A with no blanks inbetween.
