I've lost my mind. I have a list of student names and the grade they've earned in class (A, B, C, D or F). I want a pie chart to display the percentage of each letter grade. How do I do this? My data is in 2 columns. Student names in col A and the letter grade in col B. Thanks a million!!!

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
Enter the grades A to F in C1:C5. In D1 enter:

=COUNTIF(B:B,C1)

and copy down.

Plot C1:D5 as a pie chart, with date labels as percent.

PIE CHARTS ARE EVIL!

The one thing I hate the most out of Excel are Pie Charts. They are SO DIFFICULT to keep the same size!!! I hate them, I hate them, I hate them, I hate them, I hate them, I hate them, I hate them, I hate them!
:x

I hope they severely improved their usefulness in the new version of Excel (even tho we won't get it for another 3 years here at work).
