G'day

I need to add a formula to the side (outside) of a pivot table. however, when the pivot data is manipulated the pivot table grows / shrinks in row quantity and the formula reference is lost or is made irrelevant.
Is there a trick I can add to my formula that "locks in" on the cell/row regardless of a refreshed pivot table.

In practical terms, a Mechanical Equipment List is constantly being added to, and this list expressed as a pivot table, I need to perform an electrical load list and energy demand list from time to time but have to add / subtract rows to sync with the data - d'ho

thanks

GD

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
do you use GETPIVOTDATA?
Then it is possible to replace the fixed value trough a cellreference.
The formula can be copied to new rows.
