Hi I have data file organized by each month. I have pivoted it and woud like to create a simple chart as I would like to avoid manual creation as much as possible.

From the pivot's dropdown menu list I can select only the months I want to see but when I create a chart based on that pivot I see each month's results separately. For example, if I select Jan and Feb then, there will be two bars created.

Is there a way that I see the combined results in a simple manner from this pivot? Ideal situation would be I have a macro (visual basic) setup so that I can put in start mont and end month and out pops the total but I'm anywhere near to create those stuff.

Thanks!

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Have you tried creating a regular chart (not a pivotchart) with the pivot table as the source data work?
