Hi all,

Sorry to be vague but I'm using Excel 2007 (I think) at work - though I'm home now so can't check.

I input a whole bunch on data A1:N3215 and then have created two pivots to gain certain data from the data listed A1:N3215.

Problem is when I input new data over the one previously held in A1:N3215 the conditions I have set in the pivot all disappear and when the pivot is then refreshed no results/data are shown - I have to re-create the conditions again for the pivot to work.

I have only started using Excel 2007 today so am very new to why this may be happening (also my knowledge of pivots isn't too hot)

Any help much appreciated and thanks in advance

Hi redspanna,

Please clarify what you mean by "the conditions I have set in the pivot".

Are you referring to Conditional Formatting, Number Formats, Pivot Table fields selected, Filters, Calculated Fields or something else?

Edit: I just noticed that you said "no results/data is shown" so that narrows things down.
Are the fields still selected in the PivotTable Field List pane?

When you replace the old data with new data, what steps to you take to do that?
For example, do you delete those columns and paste in the new data?
