I created a simple pivot, column A has 365 dates and row 1 has carrier names. The sheet I am collecting data from has the categories in row 1 with dates in the middle of the file.

I have a worksheet in the file which houses not only daily stats but then those will roll up weekly and then monthly.

Now I *think* that i might be able to eliminate the pivot all together if someone could tell the right count, match, index combo that would update my daily stats with the count for each carrier per day from the main file and have it auto update when I add new weeks information to the data file. I am not sure how to upload a copy of the sheets so you can see them. The dates in my sheets are always the farthest left column and then I have categories in row one. I just want to know how to bring it all together?

I hope I made this clear...

I should mention that if i eliminate the pivot table the formula I use has to somehow identify if we get a new carrier in the file.
