pivot table - absolute value sorting - vba code?

hi, pivot table sorting by increasing/decreasing values is a nice feature, but in many cases, sorting by absolute values would be required. I am wondering why this has never been considered by MS developers, and wanted to ask the community whether someone has already written some efficient vba code for this? Thanks, Mike

hi PaddyD, good point thanks a lot, I tried already, but this is doubling the amount of underlying data, what is blowing up the whole pivot table. similar, the functions on pivot table data seem to use a lot of memory/performance.
