Hi All

I have created a pivot table with a considerable amount of data over a number of years.

I am now trying to view the cumulative total instead of the period total, and want this to continue to add up over multiple years.

I have gone into Value Field Settings, and tried to Select Running Total with Date as the field, but it only seems to give a year to date total. Any ideas please?

Thanks

Mike

Excel Pivot Table Tutorial -- Running Totals
Unfortunately it does involve setting up a helper column in your underlying data.
Debra uses =TEXT(A2, "yyyy-mm") and includes that in the pivot table instead of the Year and Month fields.
