Hi--

I have a workbook with 5 worksheets. Each worksheet has 20,000 product IDs and an index value.

Each one of the sheets is not unique, that is, the same product ID can exist on multiple sheets.

I am trying to build a pivot table using the product IDs from all five sheets, and have it give me a sum of the index values. Its a basic pivot, but I am running into issues trying to select the data from all of the sheets. What do I type in the range box?

Thanks for your help.

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Hi

Do you know you can make a pivot table from multiple ranges using the 'Multiple consolidation ranges' option when creating a PT?

Then you can add several ranges to your pivot table, instead of just one.

HTH and sorry if you knew that already.

I tried that, and it didn't work for me (user error, I'm sure!!). When it didnt work on the third try, I was thinking becuase I was trying to pivot off of about 100,000 rows of data, and thought maybe it was just too big!

I'll try again, and thanks for replying.
