Hi,

When creating a pivot table, the fields that I drag to Row have Subtotals set to Automatic in the Pivot Table Field dialog. Is there a way to default this to "None"?

Thanks in advance,

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Hello,

Is this possible? Is there a generic macro that will change this default for any row fields in a pivot table?

Thanks in advance,
XLML
