I’m trying to find a way to combine all my dates into just months and show the data for that entire month by month

If I make a pivot table using Name, Dollar amount, and date how I would make the pivot table combine all the dates into months after I move the Dates field under columns and then I’ m not sure what I need to do?

I have attached a spread sheet that I hope helps you understand what I'm trying to do

Thank you for your time and Help

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.

I would just add a column to your data. Put =MONTH(column with the date in it). Use a header of Months. Then select that column in your pivot table. If you cant do that, then try grouping your dates within a month together directly in the pivot table.
