Pivot table help

I am creating a pivot table.....based on users and activity.....say a user does 10 activity's and 3 of them were the same thing.....now I have it so it shows he does 10 things but I also need to report on the 1 thing he does 3 times......eg. Bob logged in 10 times and 3 times were for sales...

Hi Jane,

Put Users and Category (the column that holds Sales, and whatever else) into the Row fields.
Put Login (or Login Time) into the Data section, and set its summary formula to Count.

That should give you 7 rows for Bob -- the different things he did -- and next to it, the # of times he did each thing. Below you will have a total for his logins.
