Hello,

I'm putting together a pivot table and I want 2 fields in my row labels: Item Number and Item Description (ie 00014-23 and "Cucmbers-Sliced"). When I put my two fields in my row labels they appear stacked and I want them to appear side by side. I tried putting my item description in the values field but everything was expressed as a zero or a 1.

I'm working in Excel 2010. Insight is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Erika

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
You can get close to that by selecting Show in Tabular Form and Repeat All Item Labels in the Design > Layout > Report Layout menu. Another option would be to include a column on your source table that would have Item Number-Item Description and have that column populate the row labels. These are both workarounds, I admit.
