Pivot Table Macro Error

Hi I am creating a macro that creates 5 pivot tables on different worksheets. The macro works but for some reason the column I have selected for the column label element doesn't go into the pivot table. I am using the same column for both the column label and values does that make a difference? Thanks in advance

Yes it does. You have to add it to the data area first, then to the column area.

Sorry I don't get what you mean? I have been adding it to the column label field first and then the value field do I need to add it the other way around?
