Pivot table not working after saving

I have a file where I paste a large amount of data into one worksheet then on another one I create a pivot table using a short cut (I didn't make the spredsheet and not really sure how it works). But if I save the file under a different name or location and then try the shortcut to create the pivot table it doesn't work and gives an error message. Is it possible to make it so I can rename the file before I make the pivot table?

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
It sounds like you are using a macro to create the pivot table, so we'd need to see the code to fix it.

I think I've figured it out, you were right it is a macro that makes the pivot table and it refers to the file name. So i just have to save it in another location and it works.... I think. Thanks for the help
