I have attached a Pivot Table of my data below. I would like to have a new column next to each party to compute % votes per age category as % of Total.

For Eg Age 18-24 ACDP = 4/251

I would also like a row below the grand total to compute the No of votes per Pary as as % of the total for eg ACDP 41/4000

Your assistance in helping me resolve this on a Pivot Table is most appreciated

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
First question:

Not sure about version of Excel prior to 2007 but in 07 and 10
Cick on the Pivot go to PivotTableTolls Option Ribbon-->Calcualtions--Field,Items&Sets-->Calcualted Field.
In the "Formula" field you need to choose which columns needs to be calculated.
To example:
=ACDP/ Total

That will give you % of Total for ACDP.

Second question:
Probably for this you will have use normal formula as I do not know any way to do it in PivotTable (unless you add this row to your RAW data)
