I need help getting my pivot table to calculate a "percentage of". Here is what I need to do...my company requires staff to take a test and I need to be able to calculate the percentage of the total number of employees that have passed it.
My data set has the name, facility department, and test score of those passing (otherwise it is a blank cell). I can show the count of employee names and the count of those with a test score by department.
Rather than showing a count of test scores, i prefer to display a percentage that passed. Any help with this would be awesome.

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Hi and Welcome to the Board,

Do you need to use a PivotTable for this?

It can be done with just worksheet formulas. Here is one example....
Excel Workbook
ABCDEFGH
1NameDepartmentScoreResults# Employees# Passed% Passed
2Name 01Dept 187Dept 15360%
3Name 02Dept 1Dept 25480%

5Name 04Dept 190
6Name 05Dept 1
7Name 06Dept 286
8Name 07Dept 290
9Name 08Dept 295
10Name 09Dept 295
